New blog focusing on FemShep and Male LIs

I did end up creating a new blog. I’m only going to announce it this once, no worries.

It focuses on custom Shepards and particularly PoCs…and their male LIs. Garrus, Kaidan, Thane…even Jacob, I guess.

I just could use some submissions! We accept screenshots of custom Sheps if they’re good quality. Show off your Shep <3 Or direct me to some art or some quality fanfiction- as long as it’s about a custom Shepard.

Basically just trying to fill out an area of the fandom I don’t see enough of. It’s fun for me anyway. Shakarianunderthemistletoe will also be helping out. You’ll be seein’ us in yer tags.

I’m really disappointed with the lack of Shakarian on my dash lately

But what happened to all the Shakarian love? I’d just think that we were over ME as a fandom for the moment or something, but that’s not it. Still plenty of other love going on.

What’s going on? Is it just my dash that’s dead? Is the Shakarian hiding under somewhere? I r sad.

So it’s strange, but a few people have replied to me like they’re personally responsible for the lack of Shakarian. I’m not blaming us, guys! I’m just trying to address it and figure out why. And more importantly, figure out how to fix it. We owe this pairing a lot, so I don’t want to let it fade.

The main thing I’m hearing is lack of time or focusing on something else. I understand that. Really, I mean, same here. But it’s weird that the Shakarian fandom as a whole is experiencing all of this at once.

I’m thinking of making a blog dedicated to them to make sure there’s always something new and quality and unique like once a week—but there’s already a lot of those, so I’d have to have a different angle. Anyway, just musing, probably won’t do anything if I can’t think of it.

Hlwim was such a nice person to work with - I had a great pleasure chatting with her (hope we’ll continue&#160;!), and her fic was one of the most moving (in a painful, but strong way) I have ever read. Those pics were pretty challenging to draw, and they are plenty of flaws, I know… but I love them anyway - because they were such a godamn FUN to draw&#160;! Wow, these are very impressive! Hlwim was such a nice person to work with - I had a great pleasure chatting with her (hope we’ll continue !), and her fic was one of the most moving (in a painful, but strong way) I have ever read.

Those pics were pretty challenging to draw, and they are plenty of flaws, I know… but I love them anyway - because they were such a godamn FUN to draw !

Darn it, Garrus! How do you expect me to have realistic expectations of future boyfriends when you insist on being you? Seriously, you are just perf you know that? And you and Shepard need to stop giving me feels. It’s exhausting. It’s all just too much. 

Okay, that was melodramatic but whenever I think of Shakarian I get all giggly. They’re just too cute for words.

What has this fandom done to me?

And everytime you think you’re ok, you’re emotionally stable, someone writes or arts something full of FEELS which sends you back into a sprawling mess of emotions.
